Cooling solutions
During summer, cooling of a space involves removing heat and humidity excess of the indoor air. To do so, the introduced air is previously dried and cooled using a coolant which may be water or a refrigerant.
Air treatment can be done with a battery cooling or spray chamber (where the air comes in contact with water race, which is sprayed).
Shall be distinguished thus two types of refrigeration:
- Direct expansion: Agent vaporizes right in the cooling coil which is in contact with air;
- Indirect expansion. The refrigerant vaporizes in evaporator-cooler water, then cooling it with a coil or a water- evaporative-cooler room.
